Two Basic Plans:
50/50
Fundraisers
at The
Claddagh,
399 Canal St, Lawrence, MA
A simple concept that offers high reward for low risk: Your group sells tickets for our shows, and keeps half the profits!  This plan is also available at other venues.

Or,

Buy a show for a flat fee, with stage lighting and sound system included, or not.

We can help in every aspect, from planning and promoting the event to producing a show that will bring people back again next year.

"What we have now deemed 'comedy night' at our parish as not only a good way for the community to come together but also an excellent and easy way to raise a good deal of money for the church."

--Julie Weymouth, St. Joseph's Parish, Salem, NH

"Dave (Rattigan) and the other comics made last year's show a huge success. People were buying tickets for this year's show even before we set the date."
-- Carol Griffin, American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Greater Nashua, NH

"We were ecstatic … The event was a smashing success because we filled the room, but even more important is that people left with wet faces from laughing so hard …"
-- Ruth Pino, President, Gloucester Rotary Club

"The place was packed and we already have people asking for next year's tickets ... We raised just under $6,000 ... I can't wait until next year to bring you back."

-- Paul Hebert, Tewksbury Soccer Boosters

A live professional comedy show is a great vehicle for raising funds and building community for your group. Picking the right partner will go a long way towards ensuring success.

You don't want to charge $20-35 for tickets and then send out a bunch of tomato cans to tell jokes, but that's what many bookers will sell you -- along with the assurance that they're all "headliners" or have (nonexistent) television credits.

And you don't want to invite grandparents and folks from your church group to a show that features obsessive vulgarity or cro-magnon sensibilities. A lineup of comedians that is perfect for one group might be poison to another, but some booking agencies can't -- or won't -- make that distinction.

A first-class show becomes an event people look forward to attending all year long. When done right, it's also low-maintenance and turn-key -- saving wear-and-tear on your organization's already overtaxed volunteers.

At its best, it features top-flight comedians who are going to not only make the folks in your community laugh, but do it in a way that will help them push the "re-set" buttons in their busy, stressful lives.

There are a number of approaches people take to raise money with comedy shows, and a variety of pricing and service options. An organization can hold its own show (for a budget that makes sense), or it can sell tickets to a show in a theater or restaurant for a split of the profits.

If you'd like to discuss holding a comedy show for your organization, we're happy to share our knowledge. For more, call Dave Rattigan at (978) 828-9532 or
