The Hooker-Dunham Theater & Gallery, Main Street, Brattleboro, Vt.
This 97-seat theater is a fantastic, intimate performance space located in the downtown of one of the
great, fun cities of Vermont. Scamps does monthly two-comedian shows, letting the headliner stretch out

The Shea Theater, Turners Falls
The Shea Theater, 71 Avenue A, Turners Falls, Mass.
Scamps Comedy produced its first show at this former vaudeville theater in
March 2006, and followed with a successful "Comedy at the Shea"
series that ran from fall 2006 until spring 2007. Highlights included the
first New Year's Eve show ever held in the 350-seat theater.

The Strand Theatre, 58 High Street, Clinton, Mass.
Scamps Comedy produced the first of several sold-out shows at this 304-seat
former vaudeville theater-turned-cinema pub in September 2006. We've been filling the

Restaurants & Function Facilities

The Burren, 247 Elm Street (Davis Square), Somerville
This back-room showroom has a great informal feel and is a fantastic place to watch a show.
It seats 140, and is the perfect place for a small off-night fundraiser or informal event for your company.
The sight lines and sound are great, there are good views of the stage all-around, and Guinness on tap.

The Brewery Exchange, 201 Cabot Street, Lowell
This third-floor all-purpose function room is perfect for an informal comedy show -- featuring a sound system and stage
that can be set up for a crowd of 280 or 80. The food is great, and after the show patrons can enjoy themselves
by watching the array of television screens on the second floor, or dancing to dj music.


The Claddagh, 399 Canal Street, Lawrence
The upstairs showroom of this large Irish pub is perfect for comedy fundraisers and the
occassional open-to-the-public show. It's spacious enough to fit more than 380 patrons,
with great sight lines and a large stage. The bar downstairs is great for pre- or post-show
mingling, and there's a lineup of great bands that start playing just after the show is over.

It seats 200-seat threater style, in a setting that's intimate and perfect for comedy

King's Court function facility, 222 Central Street, Hudson, NH
This 280-seat function room next to a Chinese restaurant has played host to
a few shows per year, plus Comedy Night fundraisers that have made thousands of
dollars for various great causes. For the open-to-the-public shows, there is usually
a dinner-show and show-only option. For fundraisers and benefits, restaurant hosts
Susan and Josh have an array of plans that keep the cost down, to best help your group
raise the most money. King's Court is also available for corporate and private comedy shows

The Onion Town Grill, 75 Water Street, Danvers
This intimate 100-seat room in a family restaurant is the setting for monthly shows
featuring a surprisingly great lineups performing "nightclub clean" comedy.
The room is also available for private comedy shows and small fundraisers, banquets, etc.

The Roma, 29 Middlesex Street, Haverhill
With 200 seats and a top-flight service staff, the upstairs function room of this
family-friendly Italian restaurant is a great place for fund-raisers. Scamps Comedy has
produced fund-raising comedy shows here since 2004, along with some shows open to
the public, including New Year's Eve dinner shows that have been hugely

The Village Green, Route 1 North, Danvers
Scamps Comedy produces fund-raising comedy shows at this 240-seat venue
on Route 1, North in Danvers. It's barn-like atmosphere provides fodder for the
comedians' jokes, and a comfortable place for the audience to come watch a show. What
sports teams, charity riders, and other non-profit groups like the most, though, is that they
can sell so many tickets to their events.
